Join us at This Old Engine Design Studio for a fun and interactive 1.5-hour session designed to teach you the art and processes of screen printing. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is perfect for anyone eager to dive into the world of printmaking and screen print your own art. What You’ll Learn:

• Introduction to Screen Printing: Discover the fundamentals of screen printing, a versatile technique used for everything from apparel to posters. You’ll learn how this process can be used to transfer designs onto various materials, including fabric.
• Screen Preparation: Learn how to prepare the screen, apply emulsion, and expose your design using light. This critical first step is the foundation of a successful print.
• Creating Your Design: Explore how to make stencils using high-contrast designs, then see the magic happen as your design is transferred to the screen.
• T-Shirt Printing: Once your screen is ready, it’s time to put it into action! You’ll print your very own custom T-shirt. We’ll walk you through the process of aligning your shirt, applying ink, and using a squeegee to transfer your design smoothly onto the fabric.
• Personalized Hands-On Experience: Each participant will have the chance to print their own T-shirt. We’ll guide you every step of the way, ensuring you leave with a beautiful, custom-made piece of wearable art!
